Natalie Faye

Natalie creates story-driven imagery with heart and humanity

Natalie is a photographer and director drawn to real people, honest moments, and a cinematic sense of place. Her work often feels like a conversation — natural, human, a little offbeat — and grounded in a strong sense of story. She collaborates with brands, magazines, and mission-driven organizations that value imagery that feels alive and true.

Whether working lean or with a full crew, Natalie stays closely involved at every stage — from creative direction through post — to ensure the work reflects both the concept and the people in front of the camera.

Based in California, she finds inspiration in the natural world around her. Natalie lives in the desert artist community of Joshua Tree, a few hours from Los Angeles, and hits the road as often as possible to explore, camp, and chase the wild places that keep her grounded. She also volunteers with the Mojave Desert Land Trust, helping restore habitat and protect wildlife corridors.

Recently, Natalie’s personal work has been deeply influenced by her local community. She directed a short film in Joshua Tree that has screened at several film festivals and is currently working on a long-term book project with writer Jardine Libaire, featuring portraits and essays that celebrate unusual makers in the Mojave Desert.
